Terms & Conditions
Manage The Pennies – Last updated: 7 August 2026
These terms cover bookings, payments, live sessions, and use of managethepennies.com. By booking a course you agree to them.
1: Who we are
Manage The Pennies (managethepennies.com) (“we”, “us”) provides paid, scheduled courses delivered via live online sessions, booked and paid for through this website.
2: Bookings
- When you submit a booking form, your place is created with pending status. It becomes confirmed once payment is completed.
- You’ll receive a confirmation containing your booking reference and portal access details.
- Course capacity is limited. A cancelled booking only frees up a place if it’s cancelled before the course starts (see our Refunds & Cancellation Policy) — cancellations after the course has begun do not reopen the spot.
- If a booking made via a payment link isn’t paid within the required window, it may be automatically cancelled for non-payment. If you pay afterwards by another method, we can reinstate it manually.
3: Payment
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Courses may be paid in full, or — where enabled — in instalments on a set schedule. Instalments may be charged automatically by Stripe on the agreed schedule, or, in some cases, paid manually via emailed payment links.
- If an instalment payment fails, we’ll follow up with you; access to further sessions may depend on payments being up to date.
4: Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our separate Refunds & Cancellation Policy, which sets out the refund tiers (based on timing and how many sessions have taken place) and how refunds are calculated and paid. Please read it before booking.
5: Attending live sessions
- Each weekly session is delivered via a unique Zoom meeting, created specifically for that session.
- Access to session joining details is unlocked once your booking is confirmed and paid.
- You’ll receive a reminder with your access details shortly before each session starts.
- Access credentials issued to you are personal to your booking. Please don’t share your session joining details with people who haven’t booked the course.
- If a public holiday or other schedule change affects your course, we’ll reschedule the affected session(s) and update your joining details accordingly; we’ll do our best to notify you of any changes.
6: The Debt & Savings check-in feature
Some courses include an optional, fully anonymous debt/savings check-in. Submissions are not linked to your name, email, or booking in any way, and are used only to calculate aggregate totals for the group. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7: Course changes and cancellation by us
We may need to reschedule a session (for example, around a holiday) or, in limited circumstances, cancel a course. If we cancel a course entirely, you’ll receive a full refund for that course regardless of the refund tiers described in our Refunds Policy.
8: Your account and access credentials
Your booking portal password and PIN, and any per-session Zoom access codes, are generated automatically and are unique to you. Keep them safe — if you believe they’ve been compromised, contact us and we can help.
9: Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the booking system, session access, or check-in tools — including sharing session access with non-attendees, attempting to access another person’s booking, or submitting false information.
10: Cookies and analytics
Our use of cookies (including analytics, which only loads with your consent) is described in our Privacy Policy and cookie settings panel.
11: Liability
We aim to deliver sessions as scheduled but can’t guarantee uninterrupted service — for example, if Zoom or Stripe experience an outage that’s outside our control. Where this happens, we’ll do what we reasonably can to reschedule the affected session or otherwise put things right.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of your booking or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the course in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit, data, or opportunity.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else which cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
12: Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above will always reflect the current version.
13: Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
